Since 2014, Marjolait has been committed to an eco-friendly and environmentally responsible approach by producing delicious dairy products made on-site from local ingredients (milk, sugar, aromatic herbs, spices). Marjolait prioritizes short supply chains by selling at various markets and supplying a few specialty grocery stores that focus on «local» products. In addition, they’re working to reduce packaging here (for example, the yogurt containers are made of glass and come from recycled jars brought in by customers), and of course, there are no plastic bags!
Hand-molded cheeses and yogurts in local flavors (lemongrass, poppy, vanilla, etc.) are made from cow’s or goat’s milk. The goats are fed grass, untreated fruits, and a supplement of non-GMO corn and soy. However, we are already exploring an alternative diet using local products such as breadfruit, bananas, and other fruits.
They also produce jams and spicy sauces made primarily from fruit grown in the garden without pesticides or other fertilizers.

- On the third Saturday of the month at the Lamentin Market (7 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
- The last Friday of the month at the Case Pilote Market (2:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.)
