It is currently one of the species most threatened by global warming, as its natural habitat—the Arctic sea ice—is melting inexorably. Even though it is the largest carnivore on the planet and certainly an animal of immense strength, the polar bear is definitely threatened with extinction.

WWF (World Wildlife Fund) works around the world to “halt environmental degradation.”.

The organization considers the polar bear a priority species and has been doing everything in its power for several years to raise public awareness about its conservation and the fight against global warming.
