Les LED engendrent aussi moins de d\u00e9chets car leur dur\u00e9e de vie est plus longue que celles d\u2019ampoules traditionnelles.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>570 millions de tonnes de CO<sub>2<\/sub> non rejet\u00e9es dans l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re gr\u00e2ce aux LED<\/h2>\n<p>Selon une \u00e9tude de l\u2019entreprise am\u00e9ricaine<em> IHS Markit<\/em>, reprise sur le site <em>Quartz<\/em>, en 2017,  <strong>l\u2019utilisation des diodes \u00e9lectroluminescentes (LED) a permis d\u2019\u00e9viter l\u2019\u00e9mission de 570 millions de tonnes de CO<sub>2<\/sub> dans l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re<\/strong>. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une r\u00e9duction \u00ab <em>\u00e9quivalente \u00e0 la fermeture de 160 centrales \u00e0 charbon<\/em> \u00bb, pr\u00e9cise le magazine am\u00e9ricain !  Et <em>Quartz<\/em> d\u2019ajouter que les LED, qui consomment nettement moins que les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.consoglobe.com\/ampoules-basse-conso-fluocompacte-led-2934-cg\"><strong>ampoules \u00e0 incandescence<\/strong><\/a>, \u00ab <em>ont permis de <strong>diminuer l\u2019empreinte carbone<\/strong> mondiale d\u2019environ 1,5 % en 2017<\/em> \u00bb. Avant de conclure : \u00ab <em>les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.consoglobe.com\/le-guide-des-led-cg\">LED<\/a> ont<\/em>  <em>un gros impact sur le changement climatique<\/em> \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Mais toutes les <a href=\"http:\/\/encyclo-ecolo.com\/Ampoules_LED\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LED<\/a> ne consomment pas de la m\u00eame fa\u00e7on. Ainsi, <strong>celles produites par l\u2019entreprise japonaise Nichia sont les plus \u00ab <em>propres<\/em> \u00bb : \u00e0 elles seules, elles ont ainsi permis d\u2019abaisser de 56 millions de tonnes les \u00e9missions de gaz carbonique sur la plan\u00e8te<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Le fabricant japonais, inventeur de la diode bleue, est le plus grand fabricant de composantes LED et donc le plus grand contributeur \u00e0 cette diminution de l\u2019empreinte carbone, selon l\u2019institut. Celui-ci \u00e9value sa part \u00e0 10 % des \u00e9missions de dioxyde de carbone \u00e9conomis\u00e9es pendant l\u2019ann\u00e9e. Soit la production de 16 centrales \u00e0 charbon.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_305589\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\">\n<div id=\"attachment_305589\" style=\"width: 625px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"..\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/centrale-charbon_shutterstock_121928737-1-e1516094826753.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-305589\" class=\"wp-image-305589 size-full\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%20615%20461'%3E%3C\/svg%3E\" alt=\"centrale \u00e0 charbon\" width=\"615\" height=\"461\" data-lazy-src=\"..\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/centrale-charbon_shutterstock_121928737-1-e1516094826753.jpg\"><noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-305589\" class=\"wp-image-305589 size-full\" src=\"..\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/centrale-charbon_shutterstock_121928737-1-e1516094826753.jpg\" alt=\"centrale \u00e0 charbon\" width=\"615\" height=\"461\"><\/noscript><\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-305589\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Centrale \u00e0 charbon \u00a9 DyziO<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h3>Moins d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 pour autant de lumi\u00e8re<\/h3>\n<p>Sur la deuxi\u00e8me marche du podium des producteurs de LED les moins polluantes, on retrouve l\u2019Am\u00e9ricain <em>Cree<\/em> (8 % de la r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de dioxyde de carbone). La contribution des autres fabricants list\u00e9s par l\u2019\u00e9tude (<em>Lumileds<\/em>, <em>Seoul Semiconductor<\/em>, <em>MLS<\/em>, <em>Samsung<\/em> and <em>LG Innotek<\/em>) est \u00e9valu\u00e9e entre 4 % et 7 %. \u00ab <em>Aucun secteur ne combat plus efficacement le changement climatique<\/em> \u00bb, se r\u00e9jouit IHS Markit. <strong>Les LED consomment moins d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 que les autres ampoules pour produire la m\u00eame quantit\u00e9 de lumi\u00e8re : 40 % de moins que les ampoules fluorescentes et 80 % de moins que les ampoules \u00e0 incandescence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pour rappel, les LED ont \u00e9t\u00e9 invent\u00e9es au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1990 par deux Japonais et un Am\u00e9ricain, r\u00e9compens\u00e9s par un prix Nobel. Et ce n\u2019est pas le seul b\u00e9n\u00e9fice environnemental de ces ampoules : <strong>ces derni\u00e8res engendrent aussi moins de d\u00e9chets car leur dur\u00e9e de vie est plus longue que les ampoules traditionnelles<\/strong>. Elles ne contiennent pas, non plus, de <strong>mercure<\/strong>. Une \u00e9tude de l\u2019institut europ\u00e9en <em>Eurostat<\/em> publi\u00e9e cette semaine enfonce le clou : un foyer europ\u00e9en \u00e9conomise en moyenne 10 euros par an en rempla\u00e7ant une ampoule traditionnelle de 60 watts par une LED de 10 watts.
