The Earth Sciences Discovery Center
\nis hosting a public conference and discussion on Tuesday\u00a0March 19 at 6 p.m., who
\nis titled \u00abTsunami Sources in the Lesser Antilles.\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The speakers will provide an overview of the
\ncurrent knowledge regarding tsunamis in the Lesser Antilles. They
\nwill be on hand after the conference to discuss the topic with the audience and answer questions
\nto the questions everyone in Martinique is asking<\/p>\n

This conference, which is open to the public, will take place at the
\nas part of the work of the Intergovernmental Coordinating Commission for the
\nEstablishment of an early warning system for tsunamis and other hazards
\ncoastal (ICG\/CARIBE-EWS), a meeting of scientific experts on the sources
\non tsunamis in the Lesser Antilles, to be held in Martinique from the 18th to the
\nMarch 20, 2019.<\/p>\n
