According to AFP, this is the record high temperature above seasonal norms recorded on March 18 by several weather stations in Antarctica. On Twitter, Ga\u00ebtan Heymes<\/a>, a forecaster at M\u00e9t\u00e9o-France, warned of a \u00ab <\/i>\u00bbanomaly\"<\/i> temperature on the East Antarctic Plateau, with temperatures 30 to 35 \u00b0C above seasonal norms.
