This is a major step toward new practices in agriculture.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOn Tuesday, October 8, 2019, the partner organizations of the European Citizens\u201d Initiative to ban cage farming in Europe gathered in front of the European Commission to mark the end of the signature-collection period. With more than 1,600,000 signatures collected in 26 European countries, opponents of cage farming had every reason to be proud of the mobilization effort.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This week marks another step forward in helping consumers make informed choices.
