A Plenary Session Firmly Focused on Sustainable Development and Infrastructure in Martinique<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A total of 39.7 million euros injected into the economy<\/strong><\/p>\n

The plenary session attended by the elected officials of the Martinique Assembly, chaired by Yann Monplaisir, 1er<\/sup> The visit of the Vice President of the Martinique Assembly on June 5 and 6, 2018, was intense and productive.<\/p>\n

In fact, the elected officials had to vote on 112 proposals covering a wide range of topics, including education, social services, public housing, sustainable development, sports, culture, the economy, infrastructure projects, public works, and the allocation of various forms of aid, grants, financial contributions, and European funds.<\/p>\n

It should also be noted that during the period from March 6 to April 5, 2018, public procurement was supported by 5.3 million euros in spending.<\/p>\n

In accordance with the guidelines adopted during the debate on budgetary priorities, this plenary session was notable for the CTM\u2019s implementation of improved financial engineering to secure additional funding to supplement the funds raised by the CTM, particularly from European funds.<\/p>\n

Adoption of 14 capital funding plans<\/strong><\/h3>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thus, for the first time, 14 financing plans were presented for capital projects in education, infrastructure, and fishing ports, totaling more than 126.3 million euros<\/strong> including \u20ac44.1 million in European funds, \u20ac61 million from the CTM, and \u20ac20.8 million from the government.<\/strong><\/p>\n

24 European Fund Applications<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\n

24 European funding proposals (including 12 in agriculture) were adopted and also submitted for inclusion in the programming, totaling 29.3 million euros in funds raised<\/strong> Europeans and 7.7 million<\/strong> CTM's contribution of [amount] euros toward 89.8 million euros in eligible costs<\/strong> in the areas of agriculture, fisheries, infrastructure, and tourism:<\/p>\n
