Elle b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie de nombreuses zones humides qui abritent de v\u00e9ritables tr\u00e9sors naturels \u00e0 pr\u00e9server : La baie de G\u00e9nipa, Champigny Pays Noy\u00e9, La mangrove, Le barrage de La Manzo, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis quelques ann\u00e9es, ce territoire qui s\u2019\u00e9tend sur 37,7 km\u00b2 se transforme peu \u00e0 peu, s\u2019am\u00e9nage afin d\u2019accueillir une population de plus en plus importante, 17 339 habitants au dernier recensement, mais aussi des commerces, un lyc\u00e9e, des espaces sportifs, \u2026<\/p>\n<p>Forts de ces constats, Louis BOUTRIN, pr\u00e9sident du PNM et Charles-Andr\u00e9 MENCE, maire de la commune, ont souhait\u00e9 s\u2019engager ensemble pour pr\u00e9server les potentiels environnementaux de la commune et permettre un d\u00e9veloppement responsable de la ville de Ducos et par extension, de la Martinique.<\/p>\n<p>Ce contrat d\u2019objectif pose le cadre des actions \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser conjointement, par le PNM et la municipalit\u00e9 ducosaise, sur une p\u00e9riode de 2 ans (2018 \u2013 2020) autour de 3 axes principaux :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education \u00e0 l\u2019environnement (r\u00e9alisation d\u2019animations, d\u2019actions d\u2019\u00e9ducation \u00e0 l\u2019environnement : visites p\u00e9dagogiques, interventions dans les \u00e9coles, \u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Valorisation du patrimoine naturel du territoire (label z\u00e9ro chlord\u00e9cone)<\/li>\n<li>Am\u00e9lioration du cadre de vie (r\u00e9alisation d\u2019une planthoth\u00e8que)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Source:<a href=\"http:\/\/pnr-martinique.com\/actualites\/la-preservation-du-patrimoine-naturel-un-objectif-commun-au-pnm-et-a-la-ville-de-ducos\/\"> http:\/\/pnr-martinique.com\/actualites\/la-preservation-du-patrimoine-naturel-un-objectif-commun-au-pnm-et-a-la-ville-de-ducos\/<\/a><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ce vendredi 1 Juin, en salle des d\u00e9lib\u00e9rations de la Mairie de Ducos, le Parc Naturel de Martinique (PNM) et la ville de Ducos ont sign\u00e9 un CONTRAT D\u2019OBJECTIF pour la valorisation et la protection du patrimoine naturel de la ville de Ducos.
