During summer vacation, why not enjoy an outdoor movie with family or friends? The documentary screening in Les Trois Ilets will explore mangroves and the importance of preserving these fragile ecosystems. In other words, it\u2019s the perfect opportunity to have a great time while learning about the importance of protecting biodiversity.<\/h2>\n

Outdoor Session<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Martinique Marine Nature Park, in partnership with Cin\u00e9 Woul\u00e9, is organizing an outdoor movie screening on Thursday, July 16, 2026, in Les Trois Ilets. The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Place Paul Th\u00e9venard. It is supported by the Water Authority, the city of Les Trois Ilets, and the French Biodiversity Agency.<\/p>\n

The movie to be shown on July 16, 2026, will be The Voice of the Mangroves<\/em>, directed by Laure Martin Hernandez and Vianney Sot\u00e8s. The screening will be followed by a discussion and light refreshments. The organizers ask attendees to bring something to sit on: chairs, armchairs, or beach mats. \u00abMake yourselves comfortable and let yourselves be swept away by the magic of the images,\u00bb the organizers tell the audience.<\/p>\n

Raise awareness about mangrove conservation issues<\/strong><\/h2>\n

An outdoor movie screening is a great opportunity to raise public awareness about the importance of protecting Martinique\u2019s mangrove forests.<\/p>\n

This film screening is being organized in conjunction with the International Day for the Conservation of Mangrove Ecosystems, which will be held on July 26. The goal is to remind people that mangrove ecosystems are very fragile and play a major role in protecting all terrestrial and marine ecosystems. This is yet another reason to care for and protect them.<\/p>\n

Produced as a documentary, The Voice of the Mangroves<\/em> is an ode to nature conservation in general and to the preservation of Martinique\u2019s biodiversity in particular. This outdoor movie screening is part of the first edition of the program Biodiversity Summit 2026<\/em>, stay tuned for the next edition!<\/p>\n
