ADEME Martinique is hiring!

Environmental protection is one of the sectors with the highest recruitment rates in the overseas territories, and for good reason: the energy transition, biodiversity, and construction are all critical issues for the future of the overseas territories and departments. In the face of the advancing effects of global warming, ADEME is taking action and offering two new positions to join its ranks in the service of the environment.

Job Openings

«Following the upcoming departure of two employees, two positions are opening up at ADEME Martinique!» announces ADEME. As a result of these two simultaneous departures, ADEME Martinique is recruiting for two new positions: Ecological Transition Project Manager and Communications/Training Manager for the Antilles and French Guiana. Both positions are offered under the Civic Service Volunteer (VSC) program and are therefore intended for young people between the ages of 16 and 25. The contracts are for 12 months and are renewable. The required level of experience for both positions is less than 3 years, with a bachelor’s or master’s degree. The position is based in Le Lamentin.

At the same time, ADEME is also hiring in French Guiana for positions related to energy: Renewable Energy Project Manager and Climate and Energy VSC. The environmental sector is, in fact, one of the sectors with the highest number of job openings in the overseas territories.

Working for the Environment

The environmental sector creates jobs. The responsibilities of these two positions are designed to promote the development of environmentally friendly industries. The Ecological Transition Project Manager position, for example, specializes in the construction sector, with a strong focus on the energy transition.

As for the Communications/Training Coordinator position, the role will involve helping to disseminate best practices in the areas of climate change mitigation and adaptation, decarbonization and renewable energy, resource efficiency and the circular economy, energy demand management, and air quality, according to ADEME.

Landing a job at ADEME means «playing an active role in the Ecological Transition toward a prosperous yet resource- and energy-efficient model.» The application deadline is May 8, 2026.
