A day filled with camaraderie. That’s what this new edition of Deklik Matinik has to offer, taking place at the Tivoli eco-center on March 28. What’s on the agenda? A variety of activities focused on climate and sustainable development, all in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with food available and the opportunity to purchase local products. A day away from the hustle and bustle and close to nature.

«Awaken, adapt, connect, share—all while respecting life.» With these words, an invitation is extended to neighborhood residents and all Martinicans to participate in this new edition of Deklik Matinik, which will take place on March 28, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Tivoli eco-center. «A friendly day that inspires people to learn, discuss, discover, and share—whether alone or with family—on topics that affect us all, both in our daily lives and for our future,» the organizers announce.
This event will feature workshops, interactive presentations, exhibits, dance, and storytelling sessions. Activities for children will also be organized.
Sustainable Development
The common thread running through this event is the desire to come together around topics such as climate, sustainable development, and crisis prevention. The organizers have announced three presentations that will focus on the Reference Trajectory of Global Warming for Martinique (TRACC), to provide a better understanding of the challenges posed by climate change in Martinique. Another topic to be addressed will be water and how to better conserve and protect this resource. Finally, discussions will take place regarding the interconnections and major crises of our time, with oil and wars at the forefront.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a meal on site and shop at the mini-market and from vendors selling local products, all while enjoying the music of Bambouman, who has been invited to perform for the occasion. The event is free and open to everyone.
So everything will be in place for a pleasant day centered on mutual support and camaraderie. The organizers have already hinted at several surprises, which have not yet been revealed.
