On June 1, representatives from the overseas territories made their voices heard at the Palais du Luxembourg during the first Conference on the Overseas Circular Economy. On June 5, World Environment Day brought together municipalities across the Guadeloupe archipelago. On June 8, World Oceans Day kicked off the week of climate negotiations in Bonn.

Between these events, the Caribbean continued to make strides: regional cooperation on Sargassum, geothermal energy poised to transform Dominica’s energy landscape, and calls for solidarity projects in Martinique.
