A new chapter in Martinique. Mouvess has just released its 2025 activity report, detailing all the projects and activities carried out throughout the year, both in mainland France and in the overseas territories. The social and solidarity economy is the central theme of the organization, which will gradually expand its reach to Fort-de-France on February 24, 2026, for a new session of the ESUS-Tour.
Bringing Together Social and Solidarity Economy Organizations
Mouvess, an association organized under the French Law of 1901 and a movement dedicated to the social and solidarity economy, brings together numerous member organizations and has just released its 2025 report.
In a review of the past year, 2025, the two co-presidents of Mouvess, Anne-Sophie Thomas and Mathieu Castaings, discussed the work of social economy entrepreneurs. «Amid a context marked by significant tensions, MOUVESS entrepreneurs have continued to provide concrete solutions that are rooted in local communities and economically viable.»
The terms «entrepreneur» and «solidarity» go hand in hand, and to these we must add all the other stakeholders who take part in our initiatives—this is the strength of the social and solidarity economy (SSE) network. «This collective momentum is built on the commitment of our members, teams, volunteers, and partners, to whom we extend our heartfelt thanks. The coming year should allow us to expand this work, as we are convinced that driving change means transforming the economy in a sustainable way, together,» the co-chairs note.
Martinique
Mouvess ambassadors are present throughout France to represent the collective and promote the ESUS certification. In the overseas territories, only Martinique has Corinne Concy—who heads Kaleidoscope—serving as the territory’s ambassador.
While Mouvess has released its 2025 activity report, the ESUS-Tour has already made stops in most regions of metropolitan France throughout 2025.
