*SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) is the new coefficient used to determine the seasonal cooling efficiency of an air conditioner (in accordance with European Directive 2009/125/EC, in effect since January 1, 2013). It represents the unit’s overall energy efficiency, reflecting its performance throughout the entire cooling season. It is calculated by dividing the annual cooling load by the annual electricity consumption required for cooling. The higher the SEER, the more energy-efficient the air conditioner is.
These rebates apply only to all high-efficiency air conditioners rated «Class A++,» «Class A+++,» or «Inverter» that are replacing older units that are 3 years old or older. To take advantage of this offer, you must have your old air conditioners replaced by a professional certified under EDF’s Agir Plus Quality Charter and agree to sign a maintenance contract for at least 3 years.
