Biodiversity stakeholders come together to share knowledge and promote our natural resources!
A biodiversity observatory is responsible for gathering information on the fauna and flora,
landscapes, nature in general, and the existing connections between humans and nature. They must also share this knowledge and help institutions, elected officials, and residents take this biodiversity into account, preserve it, and promote it.
In Martinique, 41 facilities are grouped together within the OMB to pool their expertise, studies, reports, and data. The Martinique Nature Park is leading this project.
Everyone's efforts helped create a digital library which brings together all documents on Martinique's biodiversity.
