The Territorial Collectivity of Martinique is hosting the AIR exhibition from December 5, 2018, to April 30, 2019, in Saint-Pierre at the CDST (Center for the Discovery of Science and the Earth).
Human-Air Interaction
This exhibition is part of a broader project called QSEC² (Questions of Science, Civic Issues), which aims to foster dialogue among citizens, researchers, and elected officials regarding the social impacts of science and technology.
The exhibition explores the interactions between air and people. Visitors are invited to experiment, discover, and also take a stand on social issues. Children, teens, and adults alike will find an approach that suits them.
The exhibition explores air from three complementary perspectives: scientific, cultural, and civic. A booklet is available to visitors. It describes each module and helps visitors better understand each activity.
The exhibition was co-developed by the Exploradôme, Terre avenir, and the Espace des Sciences Pierres-Gilles de Gennes, with support from groups of citizen volunteers, organizations, and partners.
