This site, designed by the Martinique Regional Nature Park, aims to spark visitors’ curiosity and encourage them to observe nature as it presents itself to them in everyday life.

A Unique Journey
A trip to the Domaine d’Émeraude is an experience for all the senses.
As Mount Pelée peeks out from behind the clouds, and the subtle call of the mornes whistler echoes through the rainforest, time seems to stand still.
The rugged terrain has been smoothed out and has now given way to carefully landscaped areas.
The journey is punctuated by fun and enriching stops along the way.
The Managed Forest
Nearly 4 km of walking trails suitable for adults and children alike have been created. Three trails—15, 30, or 60 minutes long—allow visitors to explore this forest, which is home to more than a hundred native species.
The Nature Exploration Pavilion
Educational, informative, and a lot of fun, this exploration pavilion is, above all, a place to discover the natural history of Martinique. Vegetation, soil formation, fruits and vegetables, mangroves… the island’s entire natural landscape is showcased alongside quotes, proverbs, and other regional poetry. Ingeniously designed, this interactive space can serve as either a beautifully illustrated introduction or conclusion to a visit to the Domaine d’Emeraude.
The Store
A true showcase of local treasures, this intimate space proudly offers a wide range of regional products and craftsmanship.
The Park at Domaine d’Émeraude
Whether in the shade of the carbets, during a break at the open-air theater, or while strolling through the greenhouses or gardens of the Domaine d’Émeraude—which are dotted with rare and endemic species—everyone can appreciate the tranquility of the place and the beauty of the landscapes.
