The Opportunity to Work Toward the Ecological Transition

The Territorial Collectivity of Martinique (CTM) is seeking a new head of the Office of Waste Planning and Management within the Directorate of Ecological and Energy Transition. The position is based in Schœlcher and is a Category A position.

What is the ideal profile?

The CTM is seeking a «Category A employee with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the fields of regional development, environmental engineering, or waste management.».

The ideal candidate should possess knowledge such as a thorough understanding of «national and local public policies on waste management,» for example, or a thorough understanding of «environmental legislation and issues, particularly in the areas of waste management, the circular economy, and the ecological transition,» explain the recruiters.

The candidate must also be able to identify and analyze «challenges by anticipating them and taking a holistic view» and must be able to ’organize, structure, and disseminate information.« Finally, the new office director must be compassionate and have a strong sense of responsibility… and for good reason: the success of the mission will depend on it.
