Martinique Offshore Racing Association

The AMCL's objectives are:
– to promote sailing and offshore racing on offshore racing yachts as a sporting activity.
– to encourage young people in Martinique (school students, sailing club trainees) to discover regattas; to improve safety aboard boats of this type; and to make it possible to participate at a reasonable cost.
– to coordinate the efforts of all those interested in competitive sailing on offshore racing yachts, to represent them, and to advocate on their behalf before public authorities, authorities, federations, and organizations—both in France and abroad—on matters concerning sailing on offshore racing yachts.
– to promote, encourage, and support all initiatives aimed at fostering the development of this activity.
– to create and manage, in the common interest, services and benefits that may be of benefit to its members and, in general, to carry out all operations necessary for the effective achievement of the aforementioned purpose, within the limits set forth therein.
- to form one or more crews to compete in the major races on the French Offshore Racing Championship calendar, in solo, double-handed, and crewed categories.
The AMCL operates independently but considers itself subject to the authority of the French Sailing Federation with regard to compliance with the latter’s bylaws and internal regulations.
