From March 25 to 27, 2019, the Territorial Collectivity of Martinique is organizing the Territorial Apprentice Championship.
This contest, which focuses on sustainable development, aims to:
- Promoting apprenticeships as a means of training and workforce integration
- To promote the technical and professional skills of young people in Martinique,
- To showcase their expertise,
- Highlight the role of teaching staff;
- To recognize business leaders and professionals (apprenticeship supervisors and mentors) who recruit and support apprentices throughout their training.
- To inform the general public about apprenticeship careers and training programs.

The contest is open exclusively to apprentices from the following institutions:
- Agricultural CFA of the E.P.L.E.F.P.A. in Croix-Rivail
- CFA of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
- CFA of the Chamber of Trades and Crafts
- AMEP / CFA in Construction
The exams, which will take place at each CFA in Martinique, cover several trades: Landscaping, Agriculture, E-commerce and Digital Communication, Information Technology, Accounting, Human Resources, Woodworking, Energy, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning, Masonry, Plumbing, Auto Body Repair, Culinary Arts, Food Service, Pastry, and Hairdressing.
