Green Fund 2026
The webinar will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., as part of the Green Fund 2026 program. The purpose of this webinar is to present measures related to «natural hazards» such as «floods, wildfires, and mountain hazards.» «This discussion will provide a better understanding of the opportunities offered by the 2026 Green Fund,» say the organizers.
The webinar is organized by Aides-territoires, the Directorate General for Land Use Planning, Housing, and Nature (DGALN), and the Directorate General for Risk Prevention (DGPR).
A comprehensive program to help you prepare
The webinar will include a presentation on the Green Fund, as well as an introduction to the organization «Aides-territoires.» The presentation will then address the challenges posed by the main natural hazards threatening these regions:
- Overview of the Flood Prevention Initiative
- Overview of the measure designed to prevent forest and wildland fires
- Overview of the measure designed to support mountain communities facing emerging risks
Finally, there will be a Q&A session for participants’ questions. The organizers emphasize that this is «an event not to be missed if we are to work together to accelerate the ecological transition of our coastal regions.».
The webinar program does not focus solely on natural hazards in overseas territories but is intended for all stakeholders involved in environmental issues in general and coastal areas in particular.
