The Gran Vidé Matério event is held in early June specifically to clear out surplus professional-grade construction materials and make them available to individuals, businesses, and organizations. It’s a win-win event that promotes reuse, supports the local economy, and fosters sustainable development.
Clearance Sale
«Nothing goes to waste—everything gets put to good use!» On June 5 and 6, a major clearance sale will be held. For this event, 16 companies in the construction industry will open their warehouses to the public for sales. This is an opportunity to stock up on quality products at lower prices and, in doing so, avoid waste.
Supported by numerous stakeholders in sustainable development, such as ADEME, CTM, CACEM, CAP NORD Martinique, and Crédit Mutuel Antilles-Guyane, the event is part of the EIT972 initiative of the Entreprises & Environnement association.
Many products available
The concept is simple and beneficial for both the residents and the region of Martinique. Instead of throwing away their inventory, businesses sell it at a lower price, which «gives a second life to inventory that is still perfectly usable, prevents waste, and offers great deals in line with the circular economy,» notes ADEME, a partner of the event.

How can I participate in the Gran Vidé Matério?
The event is open to everyone: individuals, businesses, and organizations. Buyers are responsible for transporting the materials—including bulky items—and must pick them up the same day. Before arriving at the venue, we recommend checking the participating store’s payment and purchase policies.
