The ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards are set to evolve. To help organizations in Martinique prepare for these changes, the CCI Martinique organizes, in partnership with AFNOR, a community workshop on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Fort-de-France.
The goal: to help companies that are already certified or in the process of obtaining certification better understand upcoming trends and prepare their organizations in advance.
Quality and the Environment at the Heart of Our Initiatives
The two frameworks cover distinct but important aspects for organizations. ISO 9001 focuses on quality management and continuous process improvement. ISO 14001 For its part, it provides a framework for environmental management systems.
For the organizations concerned, changes to these standards may therefore require them to plan ahead. This is precisely the purpose of the workshop being offered in Martinique: outline the major trends in future standards, clarify key issues, and present the available support solutions.
The meeting will also serve as an opportunity to present AFNOR’s services and the consulting programs offered by the Martinique Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).
A workshop for organizations already involved
The event is primarily intended for companies that are certified or in the process of obtaining ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 certification. Executives, quality, QSE, and environmental managers, consultants, auditors, and local governments are also among the target audiences.
The workshop will be held Friday, July 10, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Martinique Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), at the 50 Ernest-Deproge Street in Fort-de-France. Participation is free, subject to availability.
