The Albioma Foundation is inviting nonprofit organizations to participate in a new call for proposals. What’s at stake? A co-financing grant designed to support projects related to biodiversity and workforce integration.
New Call for Projects in Overseas Territories
Albioma is launching a new call for projects from September 14, 2026, through October 16, 2026, «to identify and support initiatives that promote biodiversity and workforce inclusion,» Albioma explained in a press release.
The Albioma Foundation is particularly committed to supporting France’s overseas territories. «Since its creation, our Foundation has supported 27 projects led by local organizations in five overseas territories, with a budget of 1.5 million euros allocated for its 2023–2027 term. » The funded projects often focus on themes such as «ecosystem restoration, the protection of endangered species, the development of the circular economy, and support for people who are far from the job market.» The total amount of this funding reached 275,000 euros in 2025, dedicated «to projects of general interest,» according to the foundation.
What are the application procedures and requirements?
Before applying, applicants must be representatives of nonprofit organizations working on issues such as biodiversity and/or workforce integration. Project budgets must range from €5,000 to €20,000 per year, with project durations ranging from 1 to 3 years. All projects must be co-financed. Funding must take the form of an investment but may not cover vehicle-related expenses.
The project may have already begun, but the investment must not yet have been made. «Projects focused on research and awareness-raising activities are not eligible,» Albioma notes.
