This is what the Association Santé Environnement Sans Dérogation sought to demonstrate once again by relaunching the «Around Martinique Without Pesticides» initiative. The goal is to show the people of Martinique that it is possible to eat healthy, locally grown food without pesticides.
3th This edition of the tour began on Sunday, March 20, in Fond Saint Denis at the farm of Steeve El-Hage, a farmer. This is a true promotional effort for those involved in pesticide-free farming—farmers and local markets committed to this chemical-free production approach—since the «tour» visits are broadcast live on the association’s social media channels.
Despite the impact of COVID-19 on its previous operations, the Association Santé Environnement Sans Dérogation continues its fight against pesticides more than ever, through information and awareness-raising campaigns. It is also calling for the creation of a local «pesticide-free» label and improved product traceability.
