Want to learn how to recycle more effectively? That’s the focus of this new videoconference organized by ESS France for local governments and overseas departments. It’s an opportunity to make the most of products already available in the region and reduce the amount of waste thrown away each year—a win-win initiative!
REP Program and Reuse
The «REP and Reuse Sectors» speed-meeting will be held on April 10, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., via videoconference, at Martinique time. The event is organized by ESS France but is specifically aimed at the CRESS organizations in Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Mayotte, and Réunion.
All stakeholders in the sector are invited to participate: elected officials, social and solidarity economy (SSE) representatives, and professionals. «Come discuss the topic of EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) programs and the current challenges of reuse and repair!» the organizers urge industry professionals.
ESS Overseas
The event is primarily aimed at the overseas departments. «This event is intended for all social and solidarity economy (SSE) organizations in the overseas departments that are involved in reuse activities and wish to tap into new sources of materials, enter into agreements with accredited eco-organizations, and meet new partners! » states ESS France on its website. It adds: «Local governments are also invited to participate in these discussions to better understand the challenges of socially responsible reuse and to promote its development throughout our territory!»
