The Réplik Week dedicated to earthquake risk prevention will take place from October 13 to 19, 2018, focusing on «Protecting Children During an Earthquake ».
REPLIK Week is part of the 2014–2020 Antilles Earthquake Plan and is classified as a preventive measure.
Since 2006, the RÉPLIK earthquake risk awareness campaign has been led by the DEAL (Directorate of the Environment, Land Use Planning, and Housing) of Martinique and all of its partners, including the Territorial Collectivity of Martinique.
The various free events and activities, which are open to everyone, will aim to:
- Raise awareness and prepare children and young people—as a vulnerable group—for earthquake risks,
- Raise awareness among parents and other adults who spend time with children
Once again this year, the Territorial Collectivity of Martinique is playing an active role in this event and has put together a program of activities aimed at raising awareness among as many people as possible about seismic risk and building a territory that is resilient to major hazards.
Below is the detailed schedule of activities to be carried out by the Territorial Collectivity of Martinique during Réplik Week.
