The government has launched a comprehensive energy-efficiency renovation plan for buildings to reduce energy consumption in the building sector and combat energy poverty.

To help speed up energy-efficiency renovation projects, it was decided to launch an engaging communication campaign and create a unified brand identity for renovation that inspires confidence.

The Joint Signature «COMMITTED TO ACTION» brings together all public and private stakeholders involved in the building renovation process under a common banner.

To identify these stakeholders and allow them to use the «COMMITTED TO ACTION» label in their communications regarding energy-efficient renovations and renewable energy in the building sector, a commitment charter has been established. It is structured around a core set of principles common to all signatories, supplemented by sector-specific addenda for major categories of stakeholders, based on their legal status or area of activity.

The charter includes mutual commitments on the part of government authorities, ADEME, and the signatories. Each signatory commits to jointly complying with Articles 1 through 12 of the charter’s core provisions and with the commitments set forth in the sector-specific addendum to which it is subject.

The FAIRE Joint Signature User Charter reflects the commitment of the participating organizations and does not replace existing quality certifications.

The charter was launched on April 4, 2019.
