«NUTRIPARM: The Major Survey on the Food Preferences of Martinicans» kicks off today!
The NUTRIPARM survey, «Food Preferences of Martinicans,» is an online survey conducted and implemented by PARM—the Martinique Agroresources and Research Center.
The goal of the survey is to gather self-reported food preferences from at least 1,500 adults in Martinique. The analysis of this data will then be correlated with the results of a series of sensory tests to be conducted by the PARM sensory analysis laboratory, with the goal of clearly understanding the population’s sensory preferences regarding the sensations of fat, salt, and sweetness.
How can I participate?
The NUTRIPARM Study is open through March 31, 2019 and can be accessed from a computer or tablet securely and confidentially.
To participate in this survey, you must Be of legal age, reside in Martinique, have a personal email address, and provide your consent after reading the «participant newsletter.».
What is the NUTRIPARM study?
It takes place in several phases:
Phase 1 – Create a NUTRIPARM account
Phase 2 – Complete the NUTRIPARM questionnaire online (estimated time to complete: 30 minutes or less). It consists of four sections: level of attraction to various foods, preference for consuming one or more foods, favorite beverages on a menu, and eating behaviors.
Phase 3 – Sign up to participate in the panel of tasters for sensory testing in the PARM laboratory
Phase 4 – Continue participating by completing the Nutrinet Santé survey on the website www.etude-nutrinet-sante.fr. Your participation involves filling out questionnaires about your diet, physical activity, health, and lifestyle.
