Joining forces to protect the climate. That is the goal of this event, dedicated to raising awareness among young people in Martinique by drawing on collective intelligence. The aim is for younger generations to recognize the importance of protecting the environment in light of the challenges posed by global warming. How will this event be organized? Climate & Awareness
February 5, 2026, is dedicated to young people between the ages of 18 and 35—whether they are interns, in their first job, in precarious employment, or even unemployed. The event will begin at 8:15 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m., including a lunch break. The morning will be devoted to «La fresque du climat» (The Climate Mural), with the aim of «understanding the causes and consequences of climate change, grasping the urgency of the situation, and taking action» as well as “understanding the impacts on major ecological balances.” The afternoon of this climate-focused event will be dedicated to examining the challenges, adopting a systems approach, adaptation, and future planning.
The «Youth Climate Challenge» invites participants to set goals related to climate action and environmental protection in Martinique, which will be presented to candidates in the 2026 municipal elections. The purpose of this event is therefore to better prepare people and raise widespread awareness of the challenges posed by climate change.
A Day of Synergies
This event is organized by Stratégie résilience, in collaboration with partners such as La Fresque du climat, Renaissance écologique, and Atelier stratégie 2030.
The organizers have set a variety of objectives:
- Describe the causes and consequences of climate change
- Identify courses of action to limit or reduce the climate impact of organizations
- Identify the risks inherent in climate change and its impacts on the overall balance of organizations
- Understanding the major challenges and developing systemic action plans
- Become Part of the Martinique 2028 Story
Through a refined and precise methodology, collective intelligence should help advance the climate cause among young people, because the future of a region depends above all on raising awareness among the younger generations.
