The Earth Sciences Discovery Center
is hosting a public conference and discussion on Tuesday March 19 at 6 p.m., who
is titled «Tsunami Sources in the Lesser Antilles.».
The speakers will provide an overview of the
current knowledge regarding tsunamis in the Lesser Antilles. They
will be on hand after the conference to discuss the topic with the audience and answer questions
to the questions everyone in Martinique is asking
This conference, which is open to the public, will take place at the
as part of the work of the Intergovernmental Coordinating Commission for the
Establishment of an early warning system for tsunamis and other hazards
coastal (ICG/CARIBE-EWS), a meeting of scientific experts on the sources
on tsunamis in the Lesser Antilles, to be held in Martinique from the 18th to the
March 20, 2019.
