«The CRESS of Martinique is pleased to invite you to a new group session,» the organizers announced. The session will take place on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The event will be held on Avenue Frantz Fanon in Fort-de-France. The topic chosen for this session is: «Accounting and Finance: How to Manage a Healthy Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) Organization?».

Co-funded by the European Union through the Martinique 2021–2027 ERDF/ESF program and by the Territorial Collectivity of Martinique, this training session will be led by Sandra Bedouin, a support specialist at CRESS, and will feature a presentation by Karine Lise, a consultant at BLUEMING.

A healthier structure, for a stronger structure

This group session aims to «strengthen your financial management skills, secure your business model, and ensure the long-term viability of your social and solidarity economy (SSE) organization.» The training consists of several components:

Introduce students to reading and understanding key documents such as the income statement, cash flow statement, etc.
Identify key metrics to guide day-to-day operations
Anticipating Financing Needs and Ensuring Cash Flow Security
Raise awareness of best management practices to ensure the organization's long-term sustainability
